Permits and Regulations for Tsum Valley

Tsum Valley requires three types of permissions, which are:

Restricted Area Permits (RAP)

Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP).

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu Valley

Welcome to the country of peaks and high passes. We hope your journey to Kathmandu was enjoyable. Once you're in Kathmandu, finish your visa-related paperwork and obtain a SIM card and contact information for use. We will then transport you to your hotel in Thamel or any other three-star establishment of your choosing.

After a little rest, we'll take a little walk around the neighborhood to appreciate Nepal vibrant Street. Street. We would throw a warm and welcoming meal in a restaurant. We can eat anything you want for dinner.

Day 2

Early morning drive to Jagat

Our objective is to get to the starting site for our journey to Tsum Valley today. We'll have a delicious breakfast at our hotel. The car will then come to your hotel to pick you up, so be ready and pack your luggage. We will then go to Jagat after that.

We'll travel on rural roads. It will take us four to six hours to travel the 124 miles between Jagat and Kathmandu, depending on the state of the roads. When we get to Aarughat, we'll pause for lunch at the Nepali Dhawa, which has amazing views and wonderful food. We shall then proceed with our journey to Jagat. Our guide and porter will be waiting for you once you arrive in Jagat. They will do a meet and greet to recuperate and acclimate to the cold, sharp Jagat wind.

Day 3

Trek from Jagat to Lokpa

Early in the morning, we will start our trek to avoid hot weather during the trek. We'll enjoy tea or coffee and a Nepali breakfast. After that, we'll descend to the Budhi Gandaki River, which was created by the melting of the glaciers in several nearby Himalayan mountains. We will then cross a swinging bridge over the Budhi Gandaki River, which offers views of the surrounding area and cool air. While we climb to our goal, Lokpa, you will hear the river roaring.

We will go through picturesque hillside communities, terraced farmlands, and thick subtropical woods. A calm environment is created by the calming sound of singing birds and tumbling waterfalls. Trek from Lokpa to Chumling

Chumling would be our destination for today. A lovely settlement beneath the foothills of the enormous Sringi and Ganesh Himals, above the clouds. The terraced farmlands of the hills above the Budhi Gandaki River are home to Chumling village. Trekkers are astounded by the breathtaking vistas of tumbling waterfalls, river streams, swinging bridges, and the majestic Himalayan mountains in the background, which create the impression of the ideal mountain life, as they make their way to Chumling Hamlet.

Arriving in Chumling village is like entering another universe. The breathtaking vistas of Ganesh Himal greet us as we arrive at Chumling village. The Tibetan culture affects the community, which sets it apart from others. Once you arrive at the check-in in the Hotel, unwind. We will next go to some neighboring locations, go hiking, and have a good time. We'll have a bonfire in the evening and sing and dance.

Trek from Chumling to Chekampar

We will eat breakfast early in the morning before traveling to the Chekampar. A little community high in the Tsum Valley, renowned for its breathtaking vistas, serene ambiance, distinctive customs, and culture. With breathtaking views of the Ganesh Himal and Shringi Himal peaks, the trail leads us through a variety of wooded trails, terraced farms, and difficult terrain. You will traverse wooden and suspension bridges over the glistening rivers as you go through quaint settlements.

The Chhokangparo is another name for Chekamapar. The Tibetan plateau has deep roots in the area. The locals are renowned for their kind demeanor and genuine welcome. They are like gods to their visitors. During the hike, you would love to unwind and take in this peaceful village. After arriving at your tea house, unwind and get ready for the following day's excursion.

Trek from Chekampar to Nile

We will begin our journey to the Nile, also known as Niley in Nepali, after taking in the serene ambiance of Chekampar. After a slow ascent through several charming little settlements, we will arrive at the riverbed of the Siyar River, which originates from the nearby glaciers of the Himalayan peaks. One of the Tsum Valley's lovely communities is the Nile. The town, which is 3000 meters above Kwnon, is known for its clean, light air, Tibetan prayer flags flying in the sky, and the stunning Himalayan ranges that the trekkers see.

With a strong foundation in Tibetan Buddhist traditions, Mu Gompa is one of the Tsum Valley's oldest and most venerated monasteries. The monastery provides a window into the local spiritual legacy with its collection of holy relics, antiquated documents, and exquisitely decorated statues of deities. It provides monks with a place to meditate and retreat, fostering a calm and reflective environment.

Many visitors say that their stay here was incredibly serene and spiritually enlightening. Unmatched vistas of the neighboring Himalayan peaks, such as the Ganesh Himal and other snow-capped ranges, may be seen from Mu Gompa. Trek from Mu Gompa to Chumling

Trek from Chumling to Philim

We will leave Chumling early in the morning and go via tiny, charming villages like Gho and Ekle Bhatti, where you may meet the amiable residents and see their way of life. One of the most important destinations for hikers in the area is Philim, a bustling and comparatively bigger settlement.

Nestled in a valley encircled by cliffs and woodlands, Philim is well-known for its serene environment and lovely stone homes. Trek from Philm to Maccha Khola

Drive back to Kathmandu

The drive from Macha Khola to Kathmandu takes between eight to ten hours, and you'll get a final look at rural Nepal as you travel past small towns, terraced farms, and lush forests. For most of the trip, the road follows the Trishuli River, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and mountains as well as the river valley. As you move down from the slopes into the more metropolitan setting of Kathmandu, the colorful sceneries shift.

You will need to bring a water bottle with you for the hike. Using the purifying tablets, our staff will purify the water for you to drink. We advise against using plastic bottles if you want to keep your hike environmentally friendly. After the hike, you will have to either carry your garbage back or only dispose of it in the dustbins.

Guide and porter

The Nepalese government has granted our guides a license. In addition to many other languages, our guides are fluent in English, Japanese, Korean, and Thai. We often offer local speaking guides, however, you will need to specify during the request if you would prefer guidance in your mother tongue.


Twenty kilograms of weight are carried by our porter for one hiker. You must carry your own belongings in a daypack, and you can give the porter the items you will need for the hike. Heer.
